Fuel Pump location

The Car became sluggish after some jerks, then stopped abruptly and won't start. After several hours of it began to crank normally but won't start. I suspect transmission issue, perhaps fuel supply. But where is the fuel pump located on the Chevrolet Uplander 2007 LS?

It is an electronic fuel pump module and it is located in the fuel tank. It is pretty simple to check for fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. There will be a test port on the fuel rail.

If there is no pressure than check for power to the pump as close to the pump as you can and with the pump plugged in. Also check to make sure the fuel pump has good ground. The larger grey wire should be the power wire to the pump. Black is ground.

The pump is in the tank. Empty the tank, disconnect the filler and vent tubes, and remove the straps that hold it under the car. Take the strap bolts off the rear end and the front should just slide out. Have a jack ready to help lower and roll out of the way.

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button

SOURCE: fuel pump relay & fuze location for 1994 chevy 51500 pick up

if you really have a carburetor as you say, you have a mechanical fuel pump so you will not have a fuel pump relay. if you have fuel injection then you do have a fuel pump relay, need to know which engine it is to help more.

Hello. My 1997 Chevy Tahoe refuses to start. The problems began with a bad fuel pump. I changed. It worked. The fuel pump died again. I changed it again and it has been working. I parked it for two weeks....

Now you have a good battery & a starter that turns over the motor

Have you cycled the key on & off with a fuel pressure gauge on the
fuel rail?

Do you have a fuel filter that isn't over 3 or 4 years old?

Have you checked for spark while cranking ? Use an old plug on the wires,
if you have ignition wires, don't ground the wire without resistance

If you removed the ducting & MAF Sensor it won't start

Tell us what you checked & exactly how that was done.

Just purchased a 2002 Nissan Sentra and 3-5 days later the car began shutting off when stopped on several occasions and starting back up. Lastly the car shut off while in park and would not start up again...

Next time it does it. try hitting the fuel tank. a couple times if necessary. if it starts back then your fuel pump is dieing. some times when the pump heats up they will stop working, only to come on latter. let me know
