SOURCE: locating heater blower motor resistor

the resistor is behind your glove box. open the box and push in the sides to release it and let it hang down...the resistor is right there. I didn't try to replace it, a friend did it, but the part was under $20.

SOURCE: front blower motor on 2002 dodge grand caravan

it's the blower motor resistor , it's behind the glove compartment, just make sure you disconect the neg. for battery first, open the glove comp. and pull the rubber stops towars the center so you can let the glove comp. hang all the way to the floor , the resistor it's in front of you, disconect the two conectors there's one big with 6 0r 8 wires coming out and another with only two, take them out by pressing on the side of each one, remove it , put the new one on , conect the battery and your done. it's about $ 13.00 at o'riellys auto parts .

I hope this fix yor problem.

SOURCE: replace my blower resistor on my 1999 dodge caravan

Under hood up behind strut tower on firewall on passenger side. You'll see a connector attached to a 1-1/2"x 3" rectangular piece that is inserted inside firewall. Pull it to one side then pull out. You may have to play with it a bit, but it will come. Clips in behind it. If you buy the new one first, you'll see the clips that are on other side of firewall in hole.

SOURCE: 05 Dodge Caravan Front blower doesn't work but rear blower works

I had the same problem, I changed the resistor that is located behind the glove compartment and it is all good now. That resistor doesn't look like a resistor when you look at it. To reconise this item, there are two connector attached to it, the one from the blower motor on which there is a green wire and a black wire. The other connector attached to the same resistor consist of 4 wires of diff colors.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan front blower RELAY location?

For the front blower motor, there isn't an individual relay. Note the diagram. The two wires at blower motor, one should be voltage and the other ground. The totally integrated power module is also involved. Any applicable trouble codes? I can' say that replacing the blower module will fix the problem?

My 2004 dodge caravan front heater speed control switch does not work on all settings.

The blower motor resistor is going bad. There is a fine wire in the resistor, when bad it will not work for all speeds of the motor.Differant size wires for the fan speeds in the resistor. God-Bless!

The front blower control is the issue. There are 5 blower speeds. The blower wont come on unless the blower control is at the fastest setting. What should I do about this?

Replace the blower resistor which is located behind the glove box. Two screws hold it on and you can pick one up at the local part store for under $20. Also, double check to make sure the cabin air filter is not clogged. If you eventually burn up the new blower motor resistor, you may need to change out the blower.

Have a 2004 Dodge Caravan and one minute the front blower fan works great, and the next - nothing. It appears that the fuse is fine. What are my next steps?

There is a relay that provides hot to blower when requested from front control module. The ground circuit comes from the control head through the resistor block for the speed's. If voltage is present on the black wire ground the green wire and the blower should run. Most likely resistor is defective.most common.
