I have a 1983 Scottsdale Chevy truck. Recently, I noticed that when I put the truck in reverse, it seems it does not want to go. It will, but it seems it has a problem grabbing the gears, or something. It also makes a sound like the gears are trying to grab, I don't know. I had the pan dropped on the transmission last week, and the mechanic found two silver teeth looking pieces, made out of alluminum. Would this be part of the problem? I do not have any problems whatsoever in drive, or on the road, it's just when I put it in reverse. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this. Thank you very much!!
