When you have the fault codes read to find the exact sensor failure or cause , have it fixed then reset the ecm as the ecm will reduce the performance(limp mode) for safety reasons

SOURCE: engine light 2006 pontiac g6(reset)

first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it. Sounds like you have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to have it scanned. Since it's been sitting, it might just be a bad connection to one of the speed sensors.

If your lucky, your car is still under warranty. If your warranty is over, you can go to Auto Zone and have the car scanned for the DTC codes. The DTC codes will inform you the issues that need to be addressed so you can have your car running 100% again. Note: Auto Zone scan free of charge and can give you the step by step instruction to address the issues free of charge and if there are any parts that need to be replace, there parts price are reasonable and most of the time are life time replacements. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help you get your car running 100% again soon

Would my fuel filter or vacuum hose cause any problems with my 2007 pontic g6

No , reduced engine power message is most often caused by a problem with electronic throttle control , your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.

Going up a hill, traction and break lights comes on (service traction-break fluid) message on my screen, got to top of hill and slowed down, lights came off. 2008 pontiac g6

Make sure your brake fluid is at the correct level. Any issue with the brake system will cause the traction system to not work as traction control works by modulating the brake on the wheel (s) that are slipping. If fluid level is fine then the sensor for the fluid level may be bad.

My traction control disabled light is going on and off and the engine power is reduced

you may have a bad mass air flow sensor. engine goes into protection mode when this happens so it doesnt damage the engine. or your throttle position sensor is failing as well. best thing to do is check and seeif you have a check engine light on and have the code read.

My 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix barely moves!!!!

Have you ever had the catalytic converter changed. Over time the pellets inside will melt together and this will make the care very very sluggish like it does not want to run. You may want to try that.
