98 camry windshield wiper

My windshield wiper intermittent setting does not work on a 98 toyota camry. The wiper works fine but the intermittent setting will not work. Any suggestion? Thanks

Thanks, the wiper does not return to the park position.

90% of the time, we replace the wiper motor. But, that is predicated by the fact that the wiper motors ALSO does not return to the Park position. If you need more info/testing proceedures, please respond.

Windshield wipers work but interminent settings don't

most likely cause is the wiper switch has gone bad and unable to 'time' the intermittent speeds.the intermittent speeds work on a resistor type system where low and high speeds add direct voltage.

Windshield wipers work on "high"

Don't really know of the vehicle, but what I am use to is that this could be the switch Since the wipers do work that rules out the motor. But, there could be a fuse or relay that controls that part of the system?

Driver's side wiper froze and broke on PT Cruiser.

There is likely something in the linkage between the wiper and the motor that is broken.
