Drivers door on my 1996 toyota camry won't open.

Linkage seems to be intack. I beleive it's the solenoid. But the question is, how do you get the door open or the panel off to replace part?

Hi, the drivers door on my 96 Camry does not open, which makes it difficult to remove door panel. I can only get the top portion of the door panel pulled away.

I just recently replaced the interior and exterior door handles on my 1996 Camry with no problems, but they both disconnected internally yesterday and now cannot be opened from either handle. Is there another way to get the door open so I can repair?

Remove the door handle and attempt to pull the metal rod that leads to the latch.

    Remove driver's door panel:

Remove the 2 plastic covers at the hinge side of the panel

Remove the 2 screws under that were under the covers

Observe the latch side of the door; locate 2 round plugs

Press the center of the two round plugs, and pull the plugs out

Pry out the door light, at the bottom (if it has one), and unconnect the wiring connector.

Remove the screw that holds the fascia behind the door handle, slide the plastic forward to dislodge it, and unclip the door rod clip from the handle.

Remove the screw inder the arm rest

Remove the 3/4" circular trim, and remove the screw under it.

Pull the triangular plastic trimm off that is behind the door mirror, start at the top.

Remove the 4 screws at the bottom edge of the panel, if they are there.

Starting at the bottom, pull the door panel away from the door, to release the plastic fasteners. It helps quite a bit if the door panel is warm.

Once the panel is released, pull up on the panel to dislodge the clips on the top most edge.

Finally, unplug the driver side window switch from behind the panel.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls

Inside driver door handle broken 1998 toyota camry

Best guess is the linkage (cable) on the inside of the door frame is no longer connected to the inside door handle. You will need to take the door apart, and hook the cable back up on the inside of the door.

1992 camry key won't open doors

The key or the lock or both may be worn. You will need an auto locksmith. It is also possible that the lock linkage inside the door is broken.

.2007 Toyota Camry XLE key fob not opening trunk remotely...also starting to have problems with it opening driver side door

First things first...replace the cheaper part first, the battery. It that works, great! If not, then you may need a new key fob then have it programed to your system.

A 94 toyota camry le 2 door v6 transmission drive gears not workin but park and reversole do

There are really only 2 possibilities which are within your reach

- low trans fluid level, check that with engine idling
- poorly adjusted shift linkage, see p69 here

If anything else has failed, like a shift solenoid, it's really a job for a specialist.

1991 Toyota Camry DX - Front Passenger Door Lock won't disengage

Your power door locke solenoid is seized. You will need to replace it. You are going to have to get the entire door panel off, and then reach in to manually pull the solenoid arm to retract the lock mechanism. Then the door will open.
