I Replace the fuel pump, filter, plugs, wires, relays are good, fuses are good, (steal no start) but I ran a jumper wire to the new fuel pump it started up and ran just fine; so I trace the hot wire back to the fuse box no fire to the wire at all; The new fuel pump has two plugs on it 3 wire and 4 wire and the four wire had to be replace with a new wire harness. That came with the new fuel pump. ( I NEED HELP ) THANKS
Your pump is controlled by the pcm using a 12 volt signal to the relay. Pull out the relay and probe the relay socket with a voltmeter. There should be 2 terminals with 12 volts when the key is on. With the key off, there should be one 12 volt terminal coming from the ecm b fuse. See top left of diagram below.

even though the relay clicked dosn't mean that it's good it could be weak and therefore the gate inside the relay doesn't make a contact to allow the voltage to the pump. i would switch out the relay. quick way to find out for sure is to switch the a/c clutch relay with the fuel pump relay. it should start if it doesn't then you have a loose wire to the pump or a broken wire aor a bad ground. check these out.. please rate this..thanks

you should have power on the tan wire for about 5 seconds with key on try to cycle key on for 5 sec off for 10 sec if no power chehave power on both sides of fuseck ecm 1 10 amp fuse if you check ecm b fuse if that is ok check for power on the orange wire and power on the green with white wire on fuel pump relay if you have power on those check for power on the grey wire out to fuel pump if you have power on grey wire you have a bad wire from the grey to the tan wire some where in the harness hope this helps

on the drivers side left rear frame next to bumper bracket there is a ground for the fuel pump make sure it is not cut or rusty . the 4.3 has a oil sending unit at back of intake it controls fuel pump . oil sensor tells the computer to give power to fuel pump.

At the fuel pump relay you should have 1 full time hot wire. 1 hot wire when you turn on the switch. 1 ground, and the other wire goes to the pump. Test the ground to be sure it is good. If so then jump a hot to the one that goes to the pump and see if it runs.If it does then you have a bad relay or ECM. You can swap the relay with another of the same # from tour fuse box to test it.There is also a ground on top of the frame near the filler neck, check it too. Good Luck
