I had the same problem. Abs light would come on and I would lose all dash instruments. Hit a bump on the road and abs light would go off and dash would come back on. What I did to fix problem, lol I slaped the dash just to the right of instrument panel and it all came back to life. There seems to be a short there, and I slaped it back 3 times in a week and now for the last month it has stayed on.

SOURCE: Brake pedal all the way to the floor...Possible abs module?
Im going to assume that a mechanic has already checked for the most simple causes like making sure the brakes have been bled. If the abs module is faulty it will default to just a no abs state, but that wont cause the pedal to go all the way to the floor. I agree that replacing the caliper is probably gonna fix the problem, but I might try to bleed the brakes first and see if that solves it first...

Turn the key over 3x. Don't turn it far enough to engage starter, just run postion. Listen for the fuel pump to stop running each time you do this. Now at the fourth attempt, go ahead and start it. Does it start right up now? If it does, have the fuel pressure regulator tested, maybe replaced as needed. It maybe allowing fuel to go back to the gas tank and that is not suppose to happen. If this doesn't solve it, You will need to have the fuel pump checked for consistant pressure; rather not allowing fuel to leak bad to the tank. They have a check ball in the pump that sometimes fails.
