Sounds like the transmission is slipping and not engaging the next gear. could have a bad gear or the hydrualic transmission isnt matching up the gears

SOURCE: the OBD system in my 2005 town and country is

Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with one of the components or sensors it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and you need to diagnosed and repaired it. The list of possible codes number in the hundreds. The code itself doesn't tell exactly what component is defective - it only indicates where to look, or what engine parameter is out of normal range. You or a technician will have to perform further testing to pinpoint cause and the proper repair. Some codes are minor, but if no solved can lead to other problems. I recommend having it diagnosed.

SOURCE: check engine light on 2005 town and country 3.3

(DTC) CODE # P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

Translation:
Transmission Control Module (TCM) Malfunction or Failure.

P0700 Information Code

The Transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. If any malfunction is detected, the TCM informs the PCM by sending a signal (P0700 code). P0700 means that a code has been set in the TCM.

This code is for information ONLY. If this code is present, check for transaxle codes.

P1776: Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in Low/Reverse Position. The TCM monitors the L/R solenoid to ensure that the fluid transfer happens. It uses a Pressure switch to verify this. Usually this code is set by a switch that is stuck or a solenoid that is not mechanically operating.

A transmission shop would be better suited for this type of work.

Sounds like you need a starter, or you have a loose wire somewhere under the hood.

Town and counrty front right signal light flashing faster, rear light stop flashing

the signal indicator lights are suppose to flash in perticular time interval which is connected to a timer relay when the light flashes faster that means the other light is not working and the relay is getting double the current and moving faster so check the other light either the bulb is fuse or the current is not reaching up to the bulb

My chrysler 2002 town and country will not change gears. The RPMs stay at 2 or 3 when going 40 mph. What do I do?

I have the same vehicle, is your engine light on or flashing? Put your key in the ignition, turn back and forth 3 cycles of on off. End in the on position. If you have a 0700 code come up, your transmission is "done". Sounds like it is in "limp mode". Thats what happened to me. Had tranny overhauled, $1800.
