I have the code P0703 on the OBD> says its brake malfunction switch, is it safe ti drive long distance?
About $20 for a new brake light switch that can be installed in about 15 minutes or less usually, may be good insurance for a long distance drive. The code doesn't say it's a switch malfunction, the computer has seen a fault in the brake switch circuit and set the code-could just be a poor connection there.
More important, how do the brake lights work? I think I'd buy the switch or check the connector by the pedal at least. The computer may not let the cruise control work because of the code.

P0703 (M) Brake Switch Stuck Pressed or Released Incorrect input state
detected in the brake switch circuit (Changed from P1595).
The switch cost like 20 bucks. It is located on the brake pedal, it will
either be in front of or behind the pedal at the top. It will have a
plunger that contacts the pedal, and an electrical pig tail. usually you
just twist it and pull it out kinda like a headlamp.
Hope this help (remember rated and comment this).

Most common problem causing this code is the purge solenoid. A quick smoke test will show if you have any leaks in the system. If no leaks and the fuel cap is installed properly it's the purge solenoid.

might need to replace the purge selonoid valve

Sounds speedmeeter is going haywire. Like everything in today's automobiles they are made with plastic gears. Some can be unscrewed under the stearing wheel others are not. The problem with the brake light break pads were probably stuck.I would say that your speedometer is not removable to many people disconnecting them for low milage on vehicle when trading or selling.

the emission code are the first you should check it is more than likely a vacum leak but if you let it go too long it will damage the catalytic converter and 02 sensors
