SOURCE: 1998 mazda protege check engine light came on

HI, there can be many issues that will trigger this light at this time. It can be as simple as needing an oil change or, it can be as serious as needing new injectors or a crank/knock sensor.

MOst of the time, it will concern a failed sensor of some sort. The best way to find out what the actual problem can be is to take this vehicle to a local mechaninc or the dealership so they can run a diagnostic scan on the ecm/pcm. this scan will let you or your mechaninc know where the actual issue is at hand, The scan will produce a error code that will point to all problem spots and there respective locations.

Omce the scan is ran, the mechanic will be able to fix the affected area and shut off the light as well.

Where do you put the transmission fluid on a 2008 Kia Spectra?

Locate the transmission dipstick. To add transmission fluid, simply remove the dipstick and insert a funnel in tube, then slowly add fluid. Do not overfill, as this will cause the transmission to slip and possibly cause damage.

Where do you install transmission fluid on a 1994 mazda protege

For a manual transmission, you have to remove the speedometer cable from the top of the transmission, including the single bolt that holds the speedometer cable housing. From there, you use a long tube and a funnel to pour the transmission fluid into the speedometer cable hole. Yes, quite inconvenient.
