When i press the horn it shows no sound. i check with workshop they are telling me that i have to replace airbag to change horn.
Open the hood. Find the horn. Put one hand on the horn.
Have someone else blow the horn. If you DO NOT feel a click or hum then no power is getting to the horn. Get the owners manual out and find the fuse for the horn. Check or replace that fuse. See if the horn works. If not working go to auto parts store and ask them to look up horn relay for your car. Ask them to show you where the relay is located. See if you can replace that relay yourself. good luck

The most common problem with this is the clockspring, it is located just under the steering wheel. It will cause the horn not to work, airbag light to come on, and the cruise not to work. There is probably a recall on this. Contact a local dealer to see if the recall applies to your car.

you have to replace air bag . because your horn pad contact switches made in bag . when bag deployed it mess your contact switches .its going to cost you 700.00 dollars. have to fix it . or your car wont pass state inspection.sorry it happen . good luck.

they are normally the same on chevy, chrysler and ford... I suspect it should be the same. you might also have spare fuses inside the top panel of the lid.... Kindly please rank

Replace the oil filter after draining the old oil, and" BEFORE "adding new fresh oil, otherwise you'll be dump all that fresh oil, on the ground,while you "TRY to get the new filter installed.
Step 1 Remove drain plug,Drain oil into drain pan
Step 2 Remove oil filter
Step 3 Reinstall drain plug,qnce oil has drained.
Step 4 Fill new filter with oil,lube seal on filter.
Step 5 Install new filter, Add fresh oil to proper level.replace filler cap
Step 6 Run engine check for leaks.

I had this problem in my pontiac earlier this year. The first dealership tried to tell me that I had caused this by shoving things under my passenger seat (which was not the case). I went to a second dealership where they informed me that gm is aware of this problem and had links sent out to dealerships to help them deal with this problem. At the time GM had 3 engineers working with dealerships to help diagnose problems. They kept my car for 2 days changing out various parts and putting in new codes and finally they got it working correctly. Since this was a GM problem they covered all costs and gave me a rental free of charge for the 2 days. You definitely need to get this fixed because they told me that had I not fixed it and I'd been in an accident, my airbag would not have deployed. Hope this helps!
