The bumper is held on by just two 13mm bolts, the problem is getting to them. First remove the air filter and you will then see a black junction box on the right hand side, remove this and the bracket underneath to get to the bumper bolt. The driver side bolt is behind the small black junction box under a larger black junction box. Remove the small one 2/3 small bolts) to access the other bumper bolt. Its easy to do just takes a bit of time.

We had exactly the same problem with our 56 plate 2.2 dci dynamique which we have had from new...47.000miles and it had the engine and turbo replaced...fortunately it was under warranty. Apparently it had over-pressured with the oil...no investigation at the dealer...fit new!! so they did..have heard of other owners suffering the same but,as usual, Renault have never heard of such a faliure on the model!...Nothing new there then!

open the bonnet, look between the engine and the bulkhead there is a cover with 2 turn clips, turn the clips and remove the cover the pollen filter is in there
