Coolant leak there is a tube coming off of the side that I think is the over flow connector and a different tube connecting to the overflow, what should i do

Not sure I understand the question, but there should be a small hose from the actual radiator to the overflow tank. Then a small hose from the overflow tank to allow extra coolant to exit.

SOURCE: My 1999 Oldsmobile Alero is leaking coolant from the overflow tube. It spreys out the same as water in a garden hose. at one point the stopper for the resovior blew off.

Your thermostat is stuck in the closed position. Change it. It's a cheap fix

If the car is running, you can probably rule out a head gasket. And even if it were a head gasket problem, you'd probably see the coolant level drop and have white smoke coming out of your exhaust. Have you removed the radiator cap and checked the fluid level inside the radiator? The coolant recovery tank is usually connected by a rubber tube to a vent on the side of the radiator fill mouth, and nothing flows through that tube unless the cooling system pressure increases beyond the pressure rating of the radiator cap, or radiator coolant level drops below the full level, in which case additional coolant from the recovery tank will be drawn into the radiator. This does not normally happen until the engine reaches normal operating temperature and the thermostat has opened, allowing coolant to flow through the radiator in order to keep the coolant for overheating. Again, check the radiator level. If it's OK, don't worry about it.

Need to find the source of the excessive amounts of coolant leaking from the front-passenger side of the radiator/fan area. I found a tube that is connected on one end but not the other that I am currently...

It's probably the radiator overflow tank hose. It is supposed to be connected the the coolant overflow tank and also the other end at the radiator, next to the pressure cap. It allows excess coolant to escape the radiator if necessary and also to **** in coolant if needed.

Overheating

CAR OVERHEATING FIRST CHECK FOR LOW COOLANT IN THE RADIATOR COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG.IF COOLANT LEVEL IN OVERFLOW JUG LOW REFILL ADD COOLANT BACK TO THE FULL COLD MARK.PUT RADAITOR CAP ON COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG START ENGINE LET IT IDLE UNTIL IT OPERATING TEMPERATURE.MAKE SURE TOP RADIATOR HOSE GETTING HOT WHILE ENGINE WARM UP.IF TOP RADIATOR HOSE DONT GET HOT WHILE ENGINE IDLING YOUR THERMOSTAT COULD BE STUCK CLOSE CAUSING CAR TO OVERHEAT.IF TOP HOSE IS GETTING HOT.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS CHECK TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE FOR LEAKS.CHECK FOR LEAKS AT THE RADIATOR CORES AND PLASTIC SIDE CONTAINERS.IF ALL IS GOOD ENGINE OVERHEATING WHILE IN A LONG TRAFFIC LINE, COOLANT FANS NOT COMING ON.COULD HAVE FAULTY ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR OR BLOWN COOLING FAN FUSE OR RELAY.COULD HAVE PCM FAULT.MAKE COOLING FAN ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS AND WIRING NOT DAMAGE OR BROKEN.

You should replace the thermostat first as it may be sticking. If no difference then change the radiator cap as it may not be opening to allow coolant to flow to the overflow reservoir. Also make sure there is nothing blocking the overflow tube or tube connections.

99 concord 2.7 car over heats no fans come on keep needing to put water that has been pushed out

Check your fuses first...I think they are on the driver's side, side area of the dash.

Next, I know this says SENSOR but this is the steps to replacing the FAN SWITCH:

2.7L Engine
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Partially drain cooling system.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector .
  4. Remove engine coolant sensor from coolant outlet tube .
To install:
  1. Apply thread sealant to sensor threads.
  2. Install engine coolant temperature sensor into coolant outlet tube.
  3. Tighten sensor to 20 ft. lbs.(28 Nm) torque.
  4. Connect electrical connector to engine coolant temperature sensor .

There is a leakinside the passenger compartment in the heater core housing.

Could be the heater core or a hose connection to the core.
The coolant is exiting to the ground outside through the water drain tube attached to the bottom of the heater housing (normally, this drain tube will drain water that was condensed by the A/C).

A quick repair, if you don't need the heater for now:
Under the hood, re-route the heater hoses by connecting each hose end to each other with a 5/8 inch diameter hose connector (like splicing a garden hose).

Eventually, the heater core will need to be replaced.

The anti-freeze/coolant seems to just disapear.

first check the exhaust... if it is white you have a blown head gasket.... next issue may be a stuck thermostat next place to look is the water pump, there is a "weep" hole on the casting, if that is leaking you will need to replace the water pump

Water Pump leakes from steel tube.

when installing new o-ring on tube, lubricate o-ring and stick it in water pump. Then pull pressure back on tube and then tighten hold down clamp. problem solved

Coolant system problems

engine cooling should be a close circuit. there should have not over flow. however, the is a over flow container in the from of the car to catch any overflow.
the little tube may be the overflow tube that suppose to go to the overflow container.

Water leaking from the Overflow tube out of the HVAC

if you have coolant comming out of the hvac drain tube you need a heater core. good luck
