Change fog light n lense

Remove the plastic screen surrounding the fog light (held on by 3 Torx screws). Elevate the front of the car and remove the plastic tray under the front bumper(held on by 5-6 eight mm headed sheet metal screws).
Unplug the wire to the lamp and remove the four screws holding the fog lamp on.(4 Torx screws). You can't get a screwdriver into this tight space, so you'll need a torx bit and a 1/4" drive ratchet to turn it.
It is a tight work area and you'll have to take your time and just "worry" those screws out with the Torx bit..
Remove the lamp unit and replace it with the new one. reinstall four screws. Plug wire into the new lamp. Then reinstall the plastic splash tray under the bumper and the wire grill around the light. Done!

Brake pedal soft after changing pads and bleeding brakes

You will need to bleed the brake system. I would start with the rear brakes lines and work towards the front. You must have key off engine off when bleeding brakes, apply pressure on brake pedal 10 times and hold. The brake line is now ready to be open. Open and let the stream of fluid come out and close the line tight. Then release brake pedal once bleeder screw is close. This procedure must be repeated twice front and back. After, brakes have been bleed pump the brake pedal before putting in drive.
Note: Don't let the resevoir run low on brake fluid. This will cause air bubbles to accumulate on the brake system. Always top off before opening bleeder screw.

What are the proper steps to bleeding your brakes on a 1990 vw golf deisel

For left hand drive vehicles: (If the car does not have ABS system you do not need any diagnostic equipment!)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You need using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car in order to bleed the ABS block. Follow instructions by scantool equipment for bleeding the ABS block.

1. This bleeding procedure requires two people. Remove the brake system reservoir cap, and fill up with new brake fluid until "MAX" level is reached.
2. Lift the car, or use a channel for access under vehicle.
3. Put the gearbox in "N" - Neutral position, or in "P" - Parking position for automatic transmission.
4. Start the engine and push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor.
5. Begin with the rear right wheel. Another person remove the dust cap and loose the brake caliper bleeding screw until the brake pedal goes to the floor. At this moment maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling, and tight the brake caliper bleeding screw. Use a plastic hose: one end connected to the brake caliper bleeding screw, and another end inside a recovery bottle for used brake fluid.
6. Repeat steps no.#4 and no.#5 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All the time check the brake fluid level in the brake system reservoir, and fill up if necessary!

7. Push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling.
8. Continue with the rear left wheel.
9. Repeat steps no.#7 and no.#8 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All the time check the brake fluid level in the brake system reservoir, and fill up if necessary!

10. Push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling.
11. Continue with the front right wheel.
12. Repeat steps no.#10 and no.#11 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All the time check the brake fluid level in the brake system reservoir, and fill up if necessary!

13. Push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling.
14. Continue with the front left wheel.
15. Repeat steps no.#13 and no.#14 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.
16. Now the brakes are bleeded. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Fill up with new brake fluid until "MAX" level is reached. Put back the brake reservoir cap.
17. Test the car brake system. The brake pedal movement no more than 1/3 of total stroke until the floor, when brake pedal is applied. Maximum admissible is 1/2 of total stroke.

Reglue the rear view mirror. How do I remove the metal disc to glue on the window? Every other one I've done their was a set screw. When you remove the screw the small metal seat slides out. This one is...

They changed it. You have to slide the mounting bracket out the bottom of the mirror case. It's a tight fit but the mirror assembly will slide off, toward the roof. Once you have it off you will see a small slot on the bottom of the mounting bracket. Slide a small screwdriver in the slot and push toward the mounting plate (windshield). The plate that goes on the windshield should pop off. Hope this helps.

Mazda MX5. How do I remove the centre air vents so I can remove the centre console

Hi, really easy if you know how! Use a curved piece of wire to hook in and behind the eyeball (I bend one into a tight U shape push in and pull back) grasp wire tightly and pull hard. It feels as though they will break but they wont, they're held in with clips behind the fascia. The Centre console is held with clips also and two screws either side of the gear knob on the sides. When the screws are removed, pull hard again to remove the console. Good luck!

Hoe do you change a brake light on a 2001 volkswagen beetle?

IT'S A BIT MORE COMPLICATED THAN ABOVE.
TO REMOVE BRAKE LIGHT HOUSING YOU HAVE TO GO INTO THE TRUNK AND REMOVE AN OVAL PLASTIC COVER NEAR WHERE THE TAIL LIGHT IS. REACH IN AND FEEL FOR A KNOB (FEELS LIKE AN OUTDOOR SPIGOT KNOB). TURN IT UNTIL IT COMES OFF. REMOVE ENTIRE TAIL LIGHT CASING. YOU'LL BE ABLE TO COMPLETELY REMOVE THE HOUSING BY PUSHING FROM INSIDE OUT. DISCONNECT THE WIRE. CHANGE BULB, REVERSE PROCEDURE.
GOOD LUCK.

Where is the oil filter on the 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Hello there
There is a large plastic protective cover on the underside of the front of the engine which covers the bottom of the engine from side to side. On the passenger side close to the front of the vehicle there is a rectangular access port (about 6" x 8") built into this plastic cover. The access port has a cover which is removed using two screws that are right beside each other. The port cover slips out after these screws are removed and the oil filter is visible as soon as the panel cover is off.
I hoe that you find this very helpfull
best regards michael
