We have a flat on an AWD ford . Do we need to replace all 4 tires

That hard of an impact caused damage to the sensors for the antislip and brake system. Make an insurance claim because this needs to go to a dealer and could be expensive to fix.

Not really.
While it is recommended by most auto makers and tire companies to replace tires in sets of 2 or 4 it is not a requirement.
As long as the tires are all the same size and style, you should be ok with replacing just one.

If the wheel is that far out of place then it's way beyond being adjusted back into place.

The available adjustments have a range of just a few millimetres. Something has been severely damaged and requires repair or replacement; but without a physical examination of your vehicle the fault is impossible to accurately diagnose.

Note that an impact that severe may also have bent the bodyshell attachment points, so even if there are some obviously damaged parts the vehicle will need to go to a bodyshop to have the shell alignment checked. It's best to do that before paying to have the car repaired, as the results may mean that the vehicle is far beyond economic repair and will never be roadworthy again.

If you have an auto-4wd or AWD transfer case in your SUV, you NEED to have the same size tires all around. Half of your truck is trying to drive at a slightly different speed than the other half. Your tires are going to wear out 10x faster than normal, and it's VERY possible that your transfer case or differentials will be damaged and leave you on the side of the road. I would recommend having it towed on a flatbed to get the correct tires.

Bearings in the transfer case have failed and causing gear damage, replace the transfer case.

Jack up the front of the car and spin the wheels by hand. Try to look for a point behind the wheel and see how the tire runs, if you see it go up and down, you have deformed tires and you will have to change them. Also look at the inside of the tire for hernias (lumps) on the side wall of tire, if so, change the front tires. Do this check on the rear tires also. Have a nice day!

no it wouldnt hurt ,so long as the two tyres on the front were the same make and size ,with the correct speed rating ,same as the rear but the make is indifferent .

it is usually the best way if you plan on driving on it for a while but if you are just going to repair shop to get new tire don't have to but yes disconnect awd.

awd and 4wd vehicles can't have 2 different size tires run or it will damage the transfer case,but you should be able to get a new bar i beleive what your talking about is called a torsion bar
