Make sure all the pulleys are lined up and the automatic belt tensioner is not off to the side due to a bad pulley bearings. Also check the crank pulley for walking outward and throwing the belt alignment off. If the crank shaft pulley appears to have moved out you will need to replace the crankshaft harmonic damper

AC belt squealing. Lost it on the road. Replaced it and tension pulley. Still squeals.

Sounds like the compressor is seizing up or a idler pulley bearing has failed.

Short time belt squeal

hi

the squeal on a belt when the engine is started is a indication that it is loose and slipping

it needs to be tighten or at least changed, sometimes people squirt a little oil on it to lubricate it so it stops making that noise but it wont stop until tightened or changed

Looks like you need a new belt. Inspect the belt for any sign of damage like cracks etc. If belt appears fine then just tighten it. Add few drops of brake oil on pulley (surface which comes in contact with belt) to stop minor squeals if left after tightening the belt.

You have a loose belt on the A/C. On most new cars that is one big belt that drives everything on the car. If when you look at the belt on the grooved side, do you see cracks on the grooved part running across (from side to side) on the belt? if so, it is in bad need of a new belt. A new belt should stop the squealing noise. While you are replacing the belt also check the belt tensioner to ensure it is in good working order.
