It overheated.
You'll need to figure out if it is a faulty thermostat, water pump, cooling fan, or other causes.

SOURCE: 2003 jeep liberty air bag light on is it easy to fix

The system needs to be checked for cades. Airbag codes are pulled out of the ECU with the use of a scanner tool. A good auto mechanic shop will have this or you can go to the dealer. YOU SHOULD NOT TRY TO REPAIR THIS YOURSELF,YOU COULD ACTIVATE THE AIRBAG!!!!!

SOURCE: 2003 Jeep Liberty heater fan problem

It is the blower motor resistor. Look under the passanger side dash and locate the fan housing (looks round and black in color. Then locate the resistor it will be in that housing usually withtwo ten millimeter nuts or two simple screws holding it in. unplug the harness to the resistor and remove the resistor. Part store price is approx. 50.00. Note: on aftermarket (not Jeep) resistor sometimes you have to modify the housing a little to get it in. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Jeep Liberty Clicking Noise

Check the wheel bearings. Run the car and check where the noise is coming from. the wheel bearings make a gravelly, clicking noise if the bearing is bad. Lift the car and move the wheels up and down , to the sides etc. Listen or if the wheel moves , your bearing may be bad.

Smelling antifreeze through the vents of my 2004 jeep liberty not strong and then it goes away

If you smell antifreeze from the vents the heater core is leaking, you will most likely also have residue on the inside on the windshield

2003 jeep liberty wont start

Could be the battery, the starter, or a bad connection between the battery and starter.
A mechanic would check for voltage and ground at the starter first.

My 2003 jeep liberty's air conditioner blows hot

Probably, to be sure make sure the compressor is coming on. With the engine running turn on the ac and watch the rpms, they should drop for a second if the compressor is coming on. If so you just need to recharge, the refrigerant is R-134a, which you can get from your local parts store along with the kit needed to charge it. The kit will come with detailed instructions and is a pretty easy job.

2003 jeepliberty over heats with air on

Hello, do you have a "check engine" light on? A bad temp sensor would give a wrong reading. Do you get heat from your heater core? Also make sure you are getting a good flow from catalytic converter and muffler so you know they aren't plugged heating up engine temp. Also make sure all your heat shields are in tact. Are you using 50/50 mix or mostly water? Though in cold temps you normally want to use more antifreeze less water, I would try more water, less antifreeze.

Thanks

Engine light suddenly went on...I know I need antifreeze..would that cause the engine light to go on?

Yellow engine light is emission problem red check engine light is engine problem and the anti freeze low may have made it come on so could the oil being a quart low check both to be sure.

2003 Jeep liberty

There are lots of reasons for a car to over heat. To say why in particular in your case is a vague question and vague answer.

If you are not capable of working on the vehicle and diagnosing it you probably should take it to a shop.

The following are possible reasons for your Jeep overheating:
1. Bad radiator fan/clutch
2. Clogged radiator.
3. Low antifreeze level
4. Waterpump leaking
5. Faulty Radiator Fan Relay
6. Failed Thermostat
7. Bad coolant temp sensor
8. Clogged antifreeze resovoir tube
9. The list goes on and on....

It's best to get it diagnosed by a professional
