I have a 1989 300zx NA 2+2. Car had been sitting for a couple years. Not getting fuel. I replaced fuell pump with no luck. I removed fuel line BEFORE filter and no gas comes out when tryong to start. I was told it could be the relay or ECU.. however I cannot locate the relay. Ive check under hood fuse box. And fuse box in kick panel has a regular fuse labeled fuel pump,, but its not blown or anything. PLEASE help.. this is my dream car and Id love for it to start.. Any ideas greatly appreciated! TY
the relay is in the center of the dash. i am looking for it now on mine. but that is were the service manual says it is. don;t know if u have to remove the dash to get to it or not.
SOURCE: I need to find the ECU relay for an 86 NISSAN 300zx.
The ECU is probably under the passenger seat. The battery also has a fusible link which may be blown. Also follow the battery wiring to the regulator box. This may also be faulty.

Unplug the ECM connection and see if those lights go off.For some reason the relays are not turning off and are controlled via the ECM.

Yes, there is fuel pump relay, which is generally located on the passenger side kick panel. But in your case, the fuel pump relay on 2002 model Xterra is indeed located under the
dash around the steering wheel, but no you don't need to remove the
cover just lay in floor and you can see it, it will slide off a bracket
and you can remove and replace it.
Good Luck!
