I have a 2002 f150 4.2l v6.....it having lots of problem ford place has no idea whats wrong with it.... It will go sometime but other times it will act like it has no power. u can floor it and no go at all then it will catch power and go fine ... new fuel pump fuel filter air filter all snsors have been checked and relays help please
To say that a Ford dealer has no idea what the problem is, sounds impossible, There has to be more than meets the eye. If the check or service engine light is on, there are codes that can be pulled from the computer with a code reader.
Run the fault codes as there are sensor problems
take it to an accredited service center for the reading

it's your upper intake manifold gasket. it has a crack in it and needs to be replaced. your getting to much air and not enough gas. mine did the same thing.
