I need a wiring diagram for the blower motor on a 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited. I have two wires sticking out of the blower motor and I don't know where they go

lead burned through
that's easy
using the wrong fuse size
and the feed is shorted,
the correct fuse prevents the burned wires.

lots of things can short. in cars. (topic Hvac)

• the wires.
• the connectors
• the HVAC motors (actuators)
• the blower.

if you had stated the exact wire color and what it connect to exacty
we can state who shorted.

Fuse 1 , 40amp runs the blower. dark green.
Fuse 20 , 10amps runs others.
Fuse 7 runs zone control,,,10A and all 4 damper motors actuators.

ok you have your FSM and now can find who connects to what.

My first guess would be a ground problem.
The headlights and tail lights are controlled by the same headlight switch, but the brake lights are on a totally different circuit.
You may have to get a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams needed to troubleshoot the circuits if the ground connections are ok.
The lights involve the body computer and other components.

google grand cherokee forums join some of them and ask there

The black tan wire on one end goes to the blower motor.
Tan for low is next, lt green is medium 1, lt blue is medium 2, and the other black tan is for high.

I don't have a solution to the problem because I am unsure of what part you actually need to see HOWEVER i googled diagram of blower motor on 2002 jeep grand cherokee
and looked under images and there were many different angles of the blower motor

Check where the wires go into the blower housing. There is usually what appears to be a small plate held by 1 or 2 screws that the wires plug into. This is the speed control resistor. If it's going bad, it will cause the problem you describe.

the blower motor resistor is bad replace it and it will work good as new the resistor is located in the same heater box as the blower motor mounted on the outside of the heater box follow the wirring from the blower motor to find it or just simply buy the part and match it up
