97 Olds Bravada wipers and turn signals not working properly

Wipers only work on high setting and now turn signals do not work. Emergency flashers do work. Therefore, seems to be the switch in the steering column. How can I check this and what is best way to change it out?

I agree, the multi-function switch would affect both components.

You could get a wiring diagram and test the circuits - or get a new switch and plug it into the harness.

SOURCE: The turn signals do not

if the fuse is good and all the lights work(if you checked them when the hazards were working)then you need a signal flasher, the signals have a separate flasher and it looks like the hazard flasher.if you turn on the hazards and look for it under the dash then you know what the signal flasher looks like,it is located on the fuse panel of in that area.

The 2004 Nissan Sentra I own intermittent wipers don't work. Can anyone tell me how to fix them?

The intermittent function for your wipers is controlled by the wiper control amplifier. This is an integral part of the wiper (combination) switch and is serviced only by replacing the switch assembly.

97 Olds Bravada My brake & hazard lights don't

There are TSB's for this issue. I chased this issue for months on mine. Go find the TSB's, there's troubleshooting pointing out the faulty part. It could be, the brake light switch, the hazzard light switch itself, the multi-function switch. I had replaced all of these and still had the problem. Wiring that goes from the brake switch to up near the fender was shorting against the fender. I replaced the pigtail, problem fixed. Best bet to help you, is find the TSB's for this problem.

THE WIND SHIELD WIPERS WILL NOT SHUT OFF AND NOW THE TURN SIGNALS DONT WORK IS THERE A FUSE FOR THE TURN SIGNALS

The multifunction switch may be malfunctioning.Check and see if emergency flashers are working if they are then probably not the relay or fuse causing the turnsignals not to work but probably the switch.
