1997 toyota camry interior light doesn't work.

Probably a fuse or something, but at night when I turn on my car lights the lights inside the car don't turn on. So when I switch gears at night it's all from what I remember. I can't see any of the switches for the A/C or anything. All from what I remember during the day.

Look closely at the cover. You will see a small slot. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver, and pry it off. Very easy..

SOURCE: 1997 TOYOTA CAMRY BRAKE PROBLEMS

Check the trunk wire harness right by the left side trunk lid hinge for broken wires. This is a common problem on these cars. If the wires are broken you will have to repair them. The best way is to add short lengths of wires to the breaks and solder them back together. Use electrical tape to recover the harness.

Lok in the trunk on the left side, behind the carpet for a small plastic box with a bunch of wires going to it. Look to see if there is brake light powe coming in with the pedal depressed. If so, and no power is coming out, you need to order and replace the "taillamp failure sensor".

SOURCE: 1989 Toyota Camry. No brake lights.

It could be the relay, which is a yellow box located under the carpeting in the trunk on the left side. It is a problem common to your model. Also, check the brake switch's (behind the brake pedal) functionality (12V present with key at ACC or ON and continuity between wires when button engaged).

i hope this helps

Where is the fuse for the shifter bulb on a 2002 toyota camry

Most shifter lighting is not a standard bulb. It's similar to a thin belt that has electronic components. this is located in the shifter itself. Might want to remove the cover and check to see is you can replace the item your self.

Where is the fuse for interior light located in a 94 Toyota Camry

You will need to look at the fuse id chart, usually on the inside of the fuse block access panel, or in owners manual, sometimes can be found in a chilton manual. If nothing else is NOT working in the interior of the car, 'door lights, dash lights, door locks' things of this nature, it's probably the light itself, which is a trick to change. My suggestion is to take it to your local autozone, they can change it out for you, once you buy it, of course.
