SOURCE: lexus es300 won't start
I had a similar experience just the other day, i stopped to get gas and turned the car off and when attempting to turn the car back on nothing would happen. Well, let me rephrase the lights inside and out would work as well as the ac and the radio. My initial train of thought was maybe it was the battery so i went and purchased a new battery which was around $100, I installed the new battery and the car still wouldn't start. Does your car make a clicking noise when you turn the inginition key or is it just silent? If it is silent, you might want to check to see if your starter has burned out. Luckly a friend of a friend does his own mechanical work and was able to remove and replace the starter for me. After the starter was replaced the car started right up and ran perfectly. Not sure where u live but in my area a starter ranges in price from $100-200, but they also charge a core fee ranging from $45+, which can be reimbursed if you bring in your old starter to the store. I would suggest getting a starter with a lifetime warranty as well, but thats just a suggestion.
Hope this helps,
brelic

check your fuse box. you might have a blown fuse
SOURCE: Turns over upon starting, but will not ignite.
what you need to check is to see if the security light goes off when the key is inserted to make sure the key is still programmed to car when in ignition. Then the basics for a car starting: air, fuel, compression. couldbe alot of things but check the timing on the car, incase it jumped a tooth or timing belt broke. May need tune up: spark plugs. please post more information about problem with car. also check battery cables for corrision.
SOURCE: where is fuel pump on
almost every fuel injected vehicle has the electric fuel pump in the gas tank, many require that the tank be loosened from the car but some have access panels under rear seat/trunk or fender to get to them. they are not always fused...
SOURCE: car would not start could
look in the trunk, your vehicle is most likely equiped with a fuel pump reset switch.. if you look in the manual, or have access to a manual it will tell you exactly where its at, most of the time they are on the driver side of the trunk behind by fender well.
