The airbag light in the clock cluster goes out when the ignition is switched on but after about 5 seconds it comes on and flashes 4 times then goes out for 2 seconds then comes on and flashes 3 times then goes out for 5 seconds and starts the 4 then 3 sequence again. Any one know what it refers to?
Has the vehicle been in a crash or minor accident recently? Have you installed any amps or anything under the seats? Are seatbelt tensioners working properly? These are typical issues.
Here is a list of airbag codes:

Time to take the vehicle to your local Ford dealer to have the system diagnosed and have the needed repairs completed. Do not try to fix the system yourself as you may deploy the sir bag by accident and injury may occur. Not to mention that replacement of an air bag is very expensive. Let the techs that are trained to deal with these systems take care of the problem for you.

You will need to contact your local dealer, airbags are very dangerous and this is not a repair you want to attempt yourself.

Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.
Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault

check the fuse if its good then you will have to get it in and checked out cuz that means that your airbag is shorting out and could go off for no reason
