So i take the key out of the ignition and get out of the car the radio goes off when i open the door but when i close the door behind me the radio comes back on. then i checked all of the fuses and open and shut all the doors. then the radio would go off and stay off but now the interior lights stay on so i pulled the fuse for the interior lights but if i mess with the back driver side door the radio will go back to doing what it was doing then i mess with it again and it stops i have no idea.
You are on the right track...the problem appears to be on the driver side rear door actuator switch...locate this spring loaded sensor usually on the inside of the door by the hinges...spray it with PB Blastor, or WD 40...(Blastor works better) and move the switch back and forth...this should loosen up the sticking actuator and return your Buick to normalcy...Hope this helps

This is a problem with the Body Control Module (BCM), the dealer can run a test on it to determine if it is the problem for sure.
FixYa.com claims they have factory repair manuals, they have nothing of the sort, this is not to say some experts may have manuals, we do, but we work from home and in most cases have a small library. Experts are not employed by FixYa.com, we help free of charge as much as we can with the general automotive knowledge we have learned while working as auto technicians, specific test values, repair procedures and illustrations are unique to each car line, these are not in most cases available to us. Usually the security light means it can't read the chip in the key.. the little black chip at the base of the key.
