When car is cold, you hear a little ticking from the engine but car runs fine. When car reaches operating temperature, the oil light comes on and car starts to surge. There is a terrible knocking sound coming from engine and car eventually dies. All fluid levels are fine. The engine light does not come on during this time. Car was hooked up at Autozone to get a reading from computer but computer registered no problems. Was told it could be oil pump or sensor, but sensor should have tripped the engine light and registered on the computer. Car has 150,000 miles on it.

As stated in this posting, I have the same problem! When first started, the engine seems to run fine. Once, up to operating temperature, it begins knocking and when idling, the oil light flickers on.
I tried to Seafoam the problem, but no results from that.
