Most likeley on the emission sticker on the hood, or stamped in a plate on the fire wall

  • ross schmolzi Dec 07, 2008

should be on hood or the plastic cover over the radiator. unless the car has been in a front end crash. if the hood or other parts have been replaced then the stickers have most likely not been replaced.. why do you need to know the endine # so bad. and are you looking for the engine size? model # or serial #?

2002 Hyundai Accent GL error code P0442, EVAP leakage. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OFF? Thank you! Randy

You have a vacuum leak. This means that you will need to go through all of the vacuum likes and make sure they are connected and not broken. If they are broken buy new vacuum line, its like less and $1 per foot. In your case if you can I would replace all of the vacuum lines if they look cracked and old.

I have about 103,000 mi. on my 2002 Hyundai Accent and wanted to change the manuel transmission/differential gear oil. Manuel asks for 75w/90, GL-4 and can only find that weight with GL-5, that isn't...

1st GL5 has replaced the GL4, so u are stuck there, the advantages of GL5 are worth the money, as far as the coolant goes get a back flush kit and flush the block that way, Prestone makes then and they are very easy to use, they help get sludge out of the system much better than just draining.

Replace oil pan on my Hyundai accent 2004

You can try to re torque the bolts before you drop the pan and re place the gaskit if that is where your leak is coming from. Good luck and hope you don't have to drop the oil pan.

2002 Hyundai Accent Problem

first thing i need to know is did the timing belt break?
second is are you sure you aligned the timing marks and after the belt tensioner was tight you rechecked to make sure the timing stayed where you had it.
next step would be a compression check to if a valve was bent whenchanging the belt
i have seen this happen and this engine is an interferance engine.
