Look for broken wires or with a test light. follow the wires checking from the fuse box back to the brake lights checking every so often in between the light wires and the fuse box.

The brake lights on my 2006 trailblazer are not working, all others lights blinkers etc are working, checked and replaced bulbs and fusses

Thanks for choosing FixYa Rick and welcome. You probably have a bad brake switch. It is located right above the brake pedal in the cab. The pedal hits the switch and activates the brake lights. It is a round looking chrome cylinder usually. Change it and the brakes should work. It cost 10$-30$.

The brake lights are routed through the signal light switch.
Looks like that will be the next switch to replace and the problem.

Turn signals work but the brake lights do not how do i get them to work? i already changed the flasher.

I have a 2001 Ford F150, my brake lights dont work. Ive replaced the bulbs, checked the fuses, and the brake switch on side of the brake pedal was replaced. I still dont have any brake lights. My third brake light works fine, along with my running lights, flashers, blinkers.

Brake light dont work

check the fuse for the brake lights. The brake lights and siganl lights use the same bulb filament. The parking and running lights use a dimmer filament in the bulb. There are 2 filaments.
Your brake lights work through the multifunction switch which operates the signal lights. If the signal lights work, you may have a bad brake lamp switch which is on your brake pedal arm.
Let us know what you find.

Could you take out a bulb and with a testlight/probe check that you do in fact have power to that circuit .Also check that they are the correct bulb for that application I have seen people put indicator bulbs in where therse supposed to be a double filament bulb.Does the base of the bulbs lead contacts line up with the two steel terminals inside the plug?
