My 1995 chevy silverado 5.7L V8 Auto started acting up a couple months ago and i changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor and the problem when away. the problem was when i would cruise from 40-60 mph. under a steady load it would surge and feel like it was hesitating. now when i changed the plugs and everything it stopped....for a while that is. now its back again. so i took out one of the plugs and found that it had white build up on it. so i cleaned it off and it stopped but it still doesnt feel like its running as smooth as it should. does anyone have any suggestions to what the problem is. thanks for your time.
With white buildup accumulating so quickly after a plug change, it is a sign that you have worn valve guides. But the up side to this is that if there is no sign of fresh oil on the plugs then the oil is not passing the valve guides. This means only head work, and not an engine overhaul.

if engine idle good stall on acceleration either fuel filter clogged or fuel pump weak has low fuel pressure.
