Have replaced brake light switch but only red light bar on trunk works...no brake lights in tail lights.

check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.

test and replace the brake light switch, it is located at the top of the arm the brake pedal is attached to.

Having the sa but haven't replaces the brake switch. The owner's manual for my 99 accord indicates the the fuse is located behind a panel that is viewable when you open the door on the driver's side. There is a panel that you remove (pull off) to expose the fuses. The brake light fuse is the third one from the top on the left. 7.5 A

THE PROBLEM IS IN THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH, REPLACE IT.
