SOURCE: fuel pump wont run and keep blowing a fuse in the front fuse box
The power wire to your fuel pump must be shorting out somewhere. Disconnect it and see if your fuse still blows. If not, then follow the wire all the way back to the fuel pump, and look for a bare spot. Good luck!
SOURCE: Blows fuses when parking lights are turned on. Headlights work fine even running lights.
If it only happens when you turn the switchto the parking lights then it is most likely the swich that is the problem. Light swich failure appears to be a common fault with fords
SOURCE: large 20amp fuse keeps blowing
Change the fuse for the correct size AMP.
More details about Power Center Distribution, check the Section 8W Wiring Diagrams
Good luck.
SOURCE: 20 amp fuse on engine
On the fuse there is number and beside the fuse it will be mentioned for what part this fuse is for..As per that ,it indicates what fuse it is and it controls what part in the car.Do you notice problem with any part of the car not working after the fuse blows. Also try fitting 30a fuse instead of 20 a and then check,if this is helping.also it can be ECM related problem. The ecm means electronic control module. Also called cars computer. Its located beside the car battery under the hood.Disconnect the ecm and check,if the fuse stops blowing then its ecm related fault. But with the ecm disconnected, the fuse is still blowing out, then there is short in the wirings. Its a electrical short. Also there is a 20 amp fuel pump fuse in the engine compartment fuse box.Get the fuel pump wiring and connections. Also check the fuel pump relay. The relay is is in the same fuse box,but its under the fuse.-----------Check out.Keep updated.Thanks.
