I had a similar problem with my 2001 dodge 3500, the first thing I would check is to make sure that you in fact have high beams working when the light switch is turned on. The DR Lights use the high beam element of the headlamp and if they are burnt out then the DR lights won't be working. My problem was that I had no low beam headlights and everything else was working, turns out both low beam elements were burned out at the same time, replaced the bulbs and all was well. If this does not solve the problem then see if you can get a wiring diagram for the vehicle and go from there. It would seem strange that both of my elements burned out at the same time but that is exactly what happened.

hope this helps

Does the green daytime indicator flash when you shift into gear?
If so, one or both high beam bulbs are burned out.

The Alarm keeps going off , previous owner cut the horn wires so that part doesnt work but the lights just randomly start blinking and going on and off and cant cut it off. remote key chain is no longer...

The day time running light module on the back side of the front drivers fender likely needs to be replaced to fix your problem.Unplug it and the lights will work normally from the headlight switch but the day time running lights won,t work and also the high beam indicator light in the dash won,t come on when you switch to high beam but all the lights will work properly. You should replace the drl module as soon as you can but unplugging it will at least keep you from having to remove a battery cable.

Daylight Running Lights

The Module for the DRL is most likely bad, the DRL Module is squarish in shape and Black in color and would be located in the fuse area or in the engine compartment. Just pull it straight out and purchase another one and re-install. Buying new low-beam lights will not solve the problem, because if your low-beams work when you turn on your headlights than it is not your bulbs. The DRL Module uses your low beam lights, but at a lower intensity than when it is normally on, so if your low beams work when you turn on the headlight switch than your DRL Module is bad.

Low beam not working but high beam is-Pontiac Vibe 2005

I have heard it could be the Daylight Running Light module located under the dash above the brake pedal. The module controls both the daytime running lights and the low beam lights. The high beams are independent of this module.

I have the same problem. I am trying to buy a new module.
