2007 Prius 12V axillary battery drains if parked for more than 48 hours. Fuse number 39 has started failing at times and seems related to the battery drain issue.

2007 Prius auxiliary battery drains in two days. Replaced battery and still same problem. Seems to be related to fuse number 39, which started blowing at times when the battery problem first occurred. Battery seems to hold charge if I leave the fuse out. When fuse is in everything fed through the fuse (according to the owners manual) seems to work normally. What could be behind the fuse that would drain a new battery in 48 hours parked. If I drive the car every day there is no problem.

SOURCE: 1998 Avalon XLS battery drain

Does The car shut off mid drive? Could be a Wiring harness problem,
I think it's you're alternator though, That would be a good reason you're battery is dieing,

How do you get the car started again?

start with the alternator then test the battery and charging system. a low voltage issue could cause a lot of problems that will increase amperage and cause blown fuses.

2007 Toyota Prius won't power up. HV battery and 12v battery are both new. Emergency flashers, flashing red car icon, and door lights are all that works? Any ideas?

I seem to recall that the high voltage battery has a module that identifies it to the car. If that is the case, you need to go to the dealership or call a mobile auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to program in the details of VIN number and mileage.

There are some videos here. I haven't watched them but I hope they are useful.

Why are my 2007 Toyota Prius dash lights off, fuses are all fine???

Maybe someone turned the dimmer switch all the way down so that the lights do not come on at all. It is a wheel type of switch. You see about a half moon of the switch on the dashboard. Turn it until you get the brightness that you want. If this is not the problem, then you have a loose ground connection behind the dashboard. It could be a loose wire or loose circuit board connection. I do not know the location of either one.

2011 Prius fuse box

The NHW20 Prius' 12v accessory outlets each have their own fuse in the
fuse box under the steering column. (Those fuses are sadly easy to
blow.) You'll either have to lay on the floor on the driver's side
and look up, or use a mirror, to see the fuse box location. You'll
have to pull off the panel door to see the fuses. The fuses are
marked in the diagram on the inside of this fuse box cover panel.

I have a Prius and the anti theft icon flashes when the car is off... it just started doing it... will it run my battery down

As far as I know, both my original 2005 and my current 2007 flash that light when the car is off. I believe that is the whole point - to show any would-be thief that the car may be "protected." A small battery can flash an LED light for weeks or months or even longer, so I wouldn't worry about the blinking LED draining your Prius' 12V battery.
