Remove the cap from the fluid reservoir - fill the reservoir to the full mark.
Start the engine and slowly turn the steering wheel full lock left then full lock right. Repeat a few times. Then check the fluid level again.
Turning the steering wheel full lock should allow the fluid to get throughout the system. Any air in the system should vent to atmosphere from the reservoir.
Try turning steering wheel some each way while trying to turn key, pressure from steering may not be allowing it to unlock to let key turn. Other cars sometimes do that, if the locking wheel is gear you are talking about.
yes put key inignition turn to first turn at the end of the indicator stalk there is a button press and hold in until it displays and makes beeping sound same scenario to turn back on
Hi mate this is a comon problem on the 206.
What hapens is the bonding which holds the brake lining to the shoe fails causing the the lining to come off.
Depending which lining comes off determins which way the wheel locks up.
there is no quick fix for this, so the only way to cure it is to replace the brake shoes.
I hope this has been helpful, please leave a comment.
you may have a problem with a sticking handbrake
usually what happens is one of the brake shoe linings comes off and gets stuck when the car is stopping
the noise your hearing in the brake releasing
