Greetings. I have a 2009 Chevy Aveo LT with a Delco origin al head unit. I recently bought a Coby MP620 player and tried to connect it to the aux input. I also bought a cigarette lighter USB power adapter so that I could run the player with continuous power rather than from its internal battery. But when I powere everything up and try to select the ux input, it refuses to accept the signal, choosing only to display "No CD." Inserting a CD into the player and trying to change only pauses the CD; there's no sound from the MP3 player at all. No, the kicker: when I unplug the Coby from external power, the head unit recognizes the signal and plays the audio. How can I rectify this? Please assist.
The Coby MP620 turns "off" when it is charging. (You could access it like an external flash drive on a computer but the MP620 can't play when charging.) You wil need to depend on the battery to play the audio through the Aveo's sound system.

That interface most likely is not going to work, because it is not compatible with all the gm radios, don't work good with XM and rear video system,
the problem is the wiring and the software on the interface,
the PIE GM12-AUX v2 works with all the radios in gm vehicles,
radio needs to have a BAND button and CD/AUX

if the fuse is good and there is no relay then either you have a loose ground/positve wire or the socket is bad. you can easily purchase a after market socket from Napa or Oreillys for a few dollars of the problem is not a loose wire or bad fuse. good luck please rate this solution...thanks

u can buy a cable that splits from an audio output into the red and white cables so u can hook it up to anolog jacks

HELLO, ON THE IPOD BOX ARE SEVERAL NUMBER CODES. THEY HAVE TO BE SET TO THE RIGHT NUMBERS ON OR OFF BEFORE THE FACTORY RADIO WILL READ THE BOX. ONCE THE CORRECT NUMBERS ARE SET FOR YOUR VEHICLE THE AUX BUTTON WILL WORK JUST FINE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE BOOK WITH THE CODES IN IT. JUST COUNT THE WIRES ON THE ADAPTOR AND THE LOCATION OF THE PINS THEY CONNECT TO. THEN PUSH ONLY THOSE PINS UP IN THE ON POSTION. GOOD LUCK!
