I have a 2007 rav 4 the engine light will flash and the rav feels rough the engine or trans won't shift then it stops and works fine

The flashing check engine light means there is a serious problem with the performance of the engine. You need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes next.

Auto Transmission problem: Feels like it doesnt shift into OD and accelerates slow as if it stays in one gear. When put in 1st, it feels like the park brake is up of you're riding the brakes.

have you check the oil level on trans and have you change the oil on the engine lately check the levels on both. Usually on engine is too much oil car drags and on trans if low oil it usually stays in gear to protect the trans. your car is telling you check oil. No lubrication some warning lights do not come up for trans

My car will not automatically shift in low gears and the service light is flashing what could it be?

when the " S " light flashes, there is something wrong with the transmission. So I guess the transmission got stuck internally. Try to flush the trans fluid and put in new fluid. If it still giving gear shifting problem, looks like you have to rebuilt the transmission or buy reconditioned unit.

Trans will not shift good on take off drags

Make sure your drag link is adjusted correctly, loosin the bolt and let it kind of slip into it's own position.

This should make it shift correctly, and as an extra measure, put a bottle of lucas trans fix in it....
