Door has a four contact switch that connects the speaker to sound system when the door is closed. the speaker is good. there is an open on one of the speaker wires connection. Need to remove the door connector but it appears to be two rivets holding the conduct block to the sliding door. If i connect a speaker to the non sliding connect block I have sound.

My windstar was horrid for relays that needed to be replaced.... locate the relay(s) that control the power doors and replace them.

I found out that the auto sliding doors are just like garage doors.... need lubed, connectors in door jamb cleaned and sprayed with silicone lube and sometimes an ajustment for tension- dealer item.... I took mine to a dealer and drove out 30 min later.... hope this helps.

U will need to buy a can of spray white grease and clean and then lubricate all the tracks the door channels on as well as all the latches for the door, this will cure the issue in most cases, did allot of these while working at a Ford dealer.

If I recall the wiring plugs in at the top you may be able to pull the plug with out droping the back of the headliner, But I am not sure, if not pull the two clips in the rear and one uper side panel for access. You will need someone to help yu remove the door. After you get the wiring loose at the roof and the washer hose, remove one nut/bolt out of each hinge at the door frame, and loosen the other two, remove the gas lift shocks by using a small screw driver to pry the clip back on the end that attaches to the door while some holds the door up, then remove the last two bolt/nuts in the door hinges, and remove the door. If you need to use parts on the old door like the lock cylinder yoou will need to remove the inner plastic panel to gain access to the clip that holds the cylinder. Replace in reverse order and adjust to fit properly before tightning the bolts at the hinges, then snap lift shocks back on and replug harness at roof and washer hose. Hope this helps.
