Already did that the first of this week. It listed 2 things and the guy there told me to get the exhaust checked... took it to muffler shop and they put it on the machine and said the exhaust was fine. One thing was some kind of value..got it replaced also but still have the same problem...the second thing said cadillac converter.. (or sonething like that) but that part had already been removed when i bought it!! Do u think it may be the value seals?

It sounds as though your environmental control system is malfunctioning. There are several components associated with this system and therefore I'm recommending that you drive to the closest AutoZone and have them perform a free diagnostic scan so as to pinpoint the exact problem.

SOURCE: Problem with heater blowing cold air 2001 eclipse spyder + 1more

You could have a couple of issues.
Heater core
Radiator blockage

You should not drive the car to avoid overheating the motor. Have the system checked by a mechanic. You could simply have air lock.

Youfr front end is either wheel balance if your steering wheel shimmies side to side or if it shakes up and down it may be alignment. Neither is good for your tires, Try the balance first (cheapest fix)

What causes a 97 yukon to go dead going down the road and hard to crank during cold weather... and has white smoke coming from tailpipes

If you have a failing alternator that could cause the vehicle to die while you're going down the road.
Also, the voltage regulator, ( usually in the alternator ) can not put a suficient amount of cahrge back in to the battery to charge it to it's peak. This could cause the vehicle to be hard to start in cold weather.

White smoke is usually associated with a bad fuel/air mix ratio. Because of the difference in humidity with the cold air it is not uncommon to see some white smoke from the tailpipes.

I hope this helps you.

When starting up even when warm a large plume of smoke comes out and the car stinks of burning oil

when you turn off,the engine is still sucking air in so a small amount of oil passes down the valve guides, into the cylinders,If excessive smoke produced you will need valve guides.around 150k is about right......

My 1998 gdi engine is hard to start in the morning and when it started, a large amount of smoke comes out which continuously emitting on the road

If it is a white colored smoke, then it is most likely coolant, being burned.Ahead gasket most likely has blown. If it is black smoke, test would need to be done to diagnose the problem.

Hi, what does it mean when huge amounts of white smoke comes out of the exhaust? otherwise drives ok? it is a renault megane 1.5 dci 2004. regards catherine

Symptom: White smoke or water vapor from the exhaust. You notice white smoke coming from the exhaust when you start your car. If it is cold out, this may be normal. If the smoke does not disappear after the car is warmed, you have a problem. Possible causes:
  1. Transmission fluid may be entering the intake manifold through vacuum modulator.
    The Fix: Replace vacuum modulator
  2. Cylinder head gasket(s) may be bad.
The Fix: Replace cylinder head gasket(s).
  3. Cylinder head(s) may be warped or cracked.
The Fix: Resurface or replace cylinder heads. (Resurfacing is not a DIY job)
  4. The engine block may be cracked.
    The Fix: Replace engine block.

1997 eclipse white smoke out tailpipe

have compression check done on all cylenders. sounds that it could be seeping and burning this new anttifreez. can burn out pistons if so. if you have a turbo have your seals checked as they could be hardend and cracked causeing seepage. also note if your oil or coolant levels have been coming up small amounts short, this could tell about the same as the comp tests
