Fuel guage quit

1999 ford f350 diesel
My fuel gauge quit working suddenly. The truck has over 200,000 miles. The rest of the gauges work fine. The gauge reads empty with the fuel pump light on all of the time. Is there a fuse to check first?

I Notice When The Truck Is On That The Fuel Gauge Goes Below Empty But When It's Off It Comes Back Up To The Red/Empty. When I Bought The Bronco The Guy Told Me The Pump Was New, Could The Wires Be Hooked Up Wrong?

I had an identical problem like this one you are experiencing. You can solve this quite easily, check all your fuses, replace any that are burnt out. Double check all your wiring in the cab or in the hood.If this does not help you, be sure to keep your tank full.

2007 F350 4x4 regular cab V10 gas guage quit working I had the sending unit and fuel pump changed the fuel guage went to 1/4 and sat there. Any tips? Fuel guage wont work.

I'm assuming this has dual tanks, do you know if it is not working on both tanks ?
Most people would check the circuit for the gauge at the tank. The sending unit grounds the gauge on the dash.

Temperature guage not working, just purchase 1995 F350 dually, have driven it about miles and temp. guage never moved from cold. Is there a simple fix for this?

There are sometime two temp sensors on a vehicle which is common in your trucks year. One going to the computer and another going to your gauge. You could be replacing the wrong one.

We have an 2000 F350 diesel 7.3 liter engine

this happen to me and when i checked the fuses under the steering wheel 2 of them where blown after replacing them the accelorate began to work the fuses kept blowing out so the solution to this problem is disconnecting wire that connects to the fuel bowl (this heats up your fuel before you start the truck)

2003 F350 Intrument Cluster

If everything keeps going like that then it sounds like its a problem with the onboard computer. The computer controls all the guages and would explain why they all fail at the same time.

Fuel guage inoperative

Fuel gauge on full is usually a bad sender (in the tank). 0-400 ohms should give a reading (200 ohms is half a tank - not sure if this is the exact number). Bad connection could do this, too.
