Warning light
Usualy the check engine light reports a malfuction in your engine performance system, it coulb be a misfire, bad sensors, vaccum leak, you need to have your engine code read from a garage or an auto parts store that offers the service for free.
The dealer I bought it from took it back and ran all the checks. He couldn't find anything wrong and reset it. A week later it came back on. I haven't noticed any difference in the performance of the car in any way. I have seen on many threads that this seems to be a common problem. I'm ignoring it and just getting it serviced regularly. Fingers crossed I don't live to regret it!
lap top gave me a code that suggested it was the air flow meter was faulty how do i check this.
could the cause be a sensor? if so where are they lacated?
