I drove my car back from work and then parked it in my garage and the next thing i know it wont start- at first i thought it can be the low fuel (since the fuel line below yellow - had 10 miles left still), i went ahead got additional fuel init but it wont start still - then i thought it would be fuel pump given i have driven the car in the past will low gas so i got my fuel pump and spark plug changed...the car starts and works fine as long as it is running but when i park it overnight and try to start in the morning - it doesnt start- the lights are on but the engine doesnt start....Can this be a alternator / starter issue?

There is probably a fuel relay somewhere in that circuit to, that may be faulty. Check your front drivers side inner fender by shock tower for 3 relays. It should be the middle one.

i have the same problem right now. the relay is located under the big black box on passenger side of engine compartment. There are three relays in there. orange, blue and white. I dont know which is associated with the fuel pump though.

usual problem ,valves in injector worn for the fuel pump.easy quick fix this one ,fit a non return valve in the inlet pipe, check flow direction on valve when fitting and evan better as well is another in the bleed off return pipe .valves available from a motor factor or a specialist garage like bosch or lucas ,cut pipe and fit the valve with a piece of rubber pipe to connect the valve in line.or listen to the people who want to milk the golden cow and have the whole injector pump overhauled .

It sounds like just a coincidence. I dont know what a GRR noise is supposed to mean. It either Cranks, No Crank, or it Cranks but does not Run. Just tow it to a qualified shop and find out what the problem is.
