Hey guys I had the similar issue, but when I would hit my brakes the passenger side tail lights would go out and same with when the headlights were on and when I would turn my life salon it would click in the light would blink and the signal worked fine and then you would turn the other one on and the arrow would stay solid in the back two bulbs in the passenger side would go outI also did some weird stuff with my stereo lighting it was all after I did what changed my rear two bulbs on my passenger side because somebody in traffic told me I had a tail light out so I went home and I threw a couple bulbs in because I have several new ones from different rigs that I’ve had that I never used and I wasn’t thinking put them in and boom! That’s where my problem begin so I took the light back out check my bulbs and found out I had the wrong Bulb number It looked and fit right but it was definitely not supposed to be in there so I went to the auto parts store I went down and I bought some Silverstar 2057 bulbs the correct ones and I’m gonna be thrown them in here shortly
Check you fuse box, your flase relay, light bubs, and finally the switch itself
SOURCE: signal lights dont work when breaking
No,this is not normal, this normal when the emergency flashers are on,but not the turn signals.Check the bulbs(all of them)in the rear tail light assembleys. If you can not tell which bulbs are bad, replace them all.Does this vehicle have a trailer light plug?If it does,it could be in it.After the bulb replacement(look at bulbs in your hand to see if filiments are burned)replace the turn signal flasher. To find it turn key on,and left or right turn signal on,and listen, and feel for it under dash around the steering column.

which turn signal the front or back if its the back try looking fdor a apartment and stick your hand back towards your lights this should take you right to it, if front then try un screwing the big black nut on top of the signal this should open both the headlight and turn signal. :)

You will find that there are two flasher units on the fuse panel. Turn on the four ways to identify which flasher serves that circuit. Then, move the flasher to the other position (where the signal flasher is) Your directionals should then work. You then can buy another flasher and install it when you have a chance, putting it in the 4 way position. The 4 ways get used so infrequently, you always have a reliable spare signal flasher there!
SOURCE: turn signals do not work
This is one FLASHER fault; ?m referring to the blinker "flasher fuse", it is the bottom
round fuse under the dash in the fuse block.
REPLACEMENTThe turn signal
flasher and hazard units are usually located located under the dash
either to the left or right of the steering column on most models.
Good luck (remember comment and rated this).
