Sounds like you are sure it is out side. Just want to mention I have change out 2 actuators in my Chrysler 200. They start clicking, it is the plastic gears slipping. I would hear them and then I did not. They control the vent, A/C and heating ducts/air under the dash. They can be soft and sometimes loud. Do not know if this helps but I listened to the clicking a couple months before I started to check it out. The plastic gear turn on plastic shafts. I put Dorman in and it is plastic gear on steal shaft, at least the actuators I put in.

SOURCE: turn signals and hazard flashers quit working

There are two possible locations for the relay.

First in the fuse panel, close to the bottom.

Second, in some models they put the darn thing behind the dash in the center of the car, it's a real pain to get to if it's that one.

Good luck

Sounds like your alternator bearing are worn and will need to be replaced soon. Keep an eye on your alternator charging system, it may still be working fine (13.5-14.5 volts) but the bearing is warn and the alternator will fail when it does fail 100%.
Have your alternator inspected and replace it before winter comes.
Thank you for using fixya and be safe.

What weight oil to use in the summer in a 2003 pontiac grand am

heavier oils are fine in warm summer months, 10W30 or 10W40-
all cars ran on these oils summer or winter for years. Newer vehicles are designed for 5W oils and you should use a 5W oil for them in the winter months

95 chevy k2500 randomly my blower motor doesnt work also when is not workin i cant engage 4x4 floor shift

It sounds to me that you may have a bad ignition switch. not the one on the steering wheel but the electrical part under the dash on the steering column itself.. look under dash at the steering column and see if you see a bunch of wires plugged into a plug on the side of the steering column, if so check first to make sure it still plugged in completely if not you may need a new switch which is bolted to the column with a couple small bolts.. try that.

The horn recently went off during the winter, and I had the horns replaced because they went bad. When the horn goes off I have to get in the driver seat and hit the stearing wheel to turn it off.

sounds like a problem with the steering column just under the steering wheel horn push .take it apart and see whats shorting to cause the horn to come on

Yes your car does have Pistons.. and No its not normal for this to happen in the winter. However I would recommend that you use a lighter oil in the winter than the summer like 5w-30 or 10w-30 no higher. Good Luck
