But it started and ran fine before this? If YES, then the answer's patently obvious eh? The belt was put on incorrectly, or more accurately, the timing has been set up wrongly. Sadly it seems you'll need to get someone to check the timing and get it reset properly. Best of luck!

DID THE BELT BREAK AND THEN IT WAS CHANGED. If so then you may have bent valve. IF NOT then vehicle may be timed wrong. Here is a diagram of your timing marks, http://www.2carpros.com/car_repair_information/tec_info/2002/hyundai/accent/2002_hyundai_accent_timing_belt_diagram_marks.htm contact if you need more help. SOURCE: how long does a timing belt last on a Hyundai Tuscon

Generally speaking most cars should have the timing belt changed every 60-80K miles just so that it doesn't break while your driving and do furthur damage. Most vehicles have the water pump changed at the same because they're in the same area and once you open it all up you just go ahead and change it all.

Tiburon timing belt broke, replaced, won't start

Did you make sure you set cam & crank timing ? If the belt is off one tooth it will cause this. Recheck belt timing first.

At what kilometer stand do i have to change my timing belt

If it has a timing belt they last on average about 80-90,000km's. So will need to be replaced most likely at your 90km service unless it has already passed that it may have been changed already. Take it to your mechanic and ask them to check it, not replace just check. They can tell usually by looking at it how long it has left.
It is possible it has a timing chain, if that is the case it won't need changing unless you are very reckless with your vehicle.

About to purchase 2006 Tucson 4 wheel drive with 105,000km, leather seats, loaded. 4wheel drive can be switched off. asking price $12,500, would u recommend buying this vehicle? I have never owned a Hyundai...

This particular vehicle is one of Hyundai's Top Sellers. I'm a Service Technician and can tell you I haven't seen any 'MAJOR' problems with the Tuscon -- just minor stuff.

I have a HYUNDAI TUSCON 2006, My compressor is working for 3-5 seconds only then it stops for 45 seconds again it works for short and stops again, morever air flow is weak and not cold.

Constant clicking of the compressor is an indication the system is low on refrigerant. Most vehicles require a minimum of 2lbs of refrigerant to power the compressor. The constant shutting off is a safety measure to protect the compressor from burning out. Most service stations do AC service now. They will typically run a leak detection test to find where the refrigerant is escaping. They won't usually "top off" refrigerant due to legal restrictions. If you're somewhat handy, most auto parts stores will sell you a refill kit that includes refrigerant, oil, and a hose.

Does one have to change the timing belt of a Hyundai tuscon 2006 model. I

Scheduled Maintenance Services, for most Cars, has to be done at 30K, 60K, and 90K. Hyundai dealer recommend to replace the timing belt at 60K Service.
If you wait, one of two things could happen: Nothing, or the belt could break and you would be out thousands to repair the engine instead of a $400 hundred to replace just the belt. If it breaks, there will be damage done to the valves and various other internal components, which will not covered under warranty. The problem is that the Dealer would charge you between $700-$800 because they would also replace the water pump at the same time. Or you can buy the timing belt and change it by your self. To do so, you nee the Haynes Repair Manual specific for your car another equivalent.
