SOURCE: '92 Honda Accord driver's side door won't open from interior

1. This may require removal of the interior door panel which should not be too difficult to figure out where all of the screws are.
2. Take your time and don't get too wild when forcing or pulling anything. If it fails to come off there is probably yet another clip or screw you missed. Many of the screws are hidden under little caps.
3. I would find a wrecking yard near you that has the part and know ahead of time if you must pull the donor part or if they pull it for you.

I have a 95 Honda Accord four-door. Drivers door power window will not work. I have replaced the motor and I have taken apart the master window switch and cleaned the terminals. Looking for the relay fuse...

Use a test light and check if getting power on that hot wire at the connection to motor. Check it back to the fuse panel by holding the down button if window up and vice-versa. Since motor was replaced, You know it's good but no power to it. It's got to be a broken wire or unplugged somewhere. Find that spot with a test light. ALL you can do is test it till you find that broken spot.

Honda accord window goes up crooked

Do you hear alot of rattling when driving from the window? what about if that window is only rolled down half way?rattling more than any other window? The rubbers that hold the window in place may be worn allowing the window to move around in the space between the door. You should get it looked at by a mechanic before it completely falls into the frame of the door

New power window regulator installed, now window goes up to top then comes back down half way and stops. How to adjust?

It is important to learn how to fix a Honda Accord window if you have an older Honda Accord. Although the Honda Accord is renowned for being a durable vehicle, the electric window motor regulators in older models can wear out over time. This is noticeable when you hear sounds coming from the window when you attempt to use it but the window won't move. But don't worry, you can use these steps to fix a broken window in your Honda Accord.

To fix a Honda Accord window, you will need:
  • A Phillips screwdriver
  • A flathead screwdriver
  • A wrench set
  • A black marker
  • Masking tape
  • A new Honda Accord electric window regulator
  1. Remove the screws securing the door panel from the inside of the vehicle. These screws are beneath the arm rest. Release the door panel by prying it away from the front of the door. Work your way back by prying off the top and sides of the panel and the back of the panel.
  2. Remove the clips holding the door panel using a flathead screwdriver to pinch them together. Remove the panel by sliding it upward and away from the door.
  3. Remove the two bolts securing the window to the regulator. Note the position where the bolts secure the windows. When you re-install the window you will need to adjust them similarly. Making a small mark on the window with a black marker is a good way to easily keep track of the correct position.
  4. Lift the window directly up and remove it from the car door. Secure it using masking tape if you prefer not to remove it completely.
  5. Remove the bolts securing the window motor and guide. Remove the window motor and guide and set them aside.
  6. Remove the regulator from the power window motor assembly. Dispose of the old regulator and install the new unit.
  7. Re-attach the window motor and guide to the door by following the removal instructions in reverse. Test the new window regulator by turning on your ignition switch and moving the window up with the electric switch.
take it back apart somethings not tight

2005 Honda Accord, all three passenger power windows stopped working. The drivers window works and the window lock is not on. When I try the switch on each of the passenger windows i cvan hear a clicking...

you most likely have a power/ground/switch issue in the drivers door. the power for the other three doors must first travel through the switches in the driver door before it goes to the passengers. hence the reason why when somebody rolls down a passenger window and you push the up button on the driver door the window stops moving. the wires can break inside the rubber boot in the door jam. you can also have an internal problem with the driver door switch unit. you would need a wiring diagram to diagnose this concern.

Electric window only goes down half way

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal. It sounds like the guide rails may be loose and snagging the window. Or your regulator may be broken (not likely)

I have a 2003 honda accord coupe

it sounds like the window switch unit in the drivers door is malfunctioning. The other possability could be the multiplex unit that all the wiring runs through. may want to have diagnostics run by a mechanic or honda dealer.
