This same thing happened last year, but after a couple of hours it started again. This time, I started up a hill and it stalled on me. Waited a few hours and it still won't start. Ignition turns but no start. Checked the fuel pump shutoff switch as well as the fuel pump fuse. Could it be a solenoid of some type? Please help.

Perhaps when the fuel pump was replaced, the filter was not replaced, or the dirt in the tank was not cleaned out. Sometimes these problems are a result of the filter getting clogged up and fuel is not able to reach the fuel rail. The car sits for a while, the sediment falls from the filter, it then starts and runs for a time, all the while, little by little, the sediment recollects and starves the fuel rail again.

Has your engine gotten wet? Sounds like water around your spark plug boots down in the port around the spark plugs. If there is any water down there, make sure you blow it out with air compressor prior to removing plugs, or it will drain directly into the engine. Another scenario, could be EGR valve or related parts. Is your check engine light on? With that rough of a ride, it should be. If it is an auto parts store should be able to read the code to help pin point the problem. Good Luck!

Is the fluid full enough? there should be a dipstick to tell where the level should be. Also is the belt tight enough? Wires loose?

Save your self the hassle and expence of troubleshooting and replacement parts, install a suspension retrofit kit which changes the rear bags to coil springs and the front to struts. A car this old you might as well start over for less than $500.00......
