Pulsating grinding noise from front differencial

I have a 2000 safari van with a pulsating grinding noise coming from the front end of the vehicle. The noise causes a vibration in the floor on both sides inside the vehicle while driving over fifteen miles an hour and gets quicker as the vehicle pics up speed. I know this is not the brakes, they are all new with rotors, calipers, pads, and cilenders. I am thinking front end differencial. but it is a pulsating grind not a steady grind. I just bought this vehicle as a fixer. I do not know the vehicle becuase it was not running when I bought it. any Ideas what the problem could be? And how do I find the repair procedures for the differencial?

After getting new tires on the front of the van, the abs light now comes on intermittently and once in a while the brake pedal will pulsate and it makes a grinding noise

They may have damaged one of the ABS sensors in the front.
Take it back and have them check that their tech did not accidently unplug a sensor or damage it. What you think is grinding may be the abs coming on.

2004 dodge intrepid front end noise

Without a description of the noise, this is impossible to diagnose. Common problem with these vehicles is a "grinding" type noise. This will be a bearing that has gone bad or brake pads that are beyond the service life (louder screeching or grinding upon braking). Popping noises are the CV drive axles are bad (noise is typically louder when when the vehicle is in motion and turning).

My 1998 awd astro van developed a grinding noise

Assuming...you get the noise with the vehicle moving; try loading up one side at a time by doing lane changes when you hear the grind. If the noise increases & then decreases as you go from side to side then you probably have a bad wheel bearing. Also, You could just have a pebble caught between the backing plate & rotor! (they have a tendency to fall out quickly)

2002 Chevy Astro van front end makes grinding noise

sounds like a possible wheel bearing issue or brake pad issue!!! i would definatly have this looked at, but in the meantime, make sure that it isnt just a backing plate contacting the rotor ...hope this was helpful!!
