They can test your ECM (under the coil pack) at your local parts store

97 Buick LeSabre getting gas and fire doesn't want to start

cranks fast? and battery fully charged is the WAY!
Getting gas means, what? how done, ? the dribble test?
FIRE,, what is fire, spark good on all cylinders? tested.
FIre takes 3 things, good compression ,spark then fuel
or no Combustion FIRE.3 things.
no engine told and is an engine question, 3.0L or3.8L?
3.8L V6 I guess and answer now. has 3 sets of dual spark coil packs
that must never be wired up (HV) wrong as many do.
new wire sets plugs are best never this old ever.

push rod valves, cam in block.
connected new battery up backwards or charger up backwards, blows up very expensive electronics.
here is the otto cycle tests, (technolgy)
engine good, compression 150psi up and near equal all.
spark good to all cylinders, tested good.
if get this far, test fuel works for 3 seconds or more.(spray starter)
fuel is last.
3.8L (VIN L, 1 And K) Engine code not told or RPO list 3.8L (VIN B and 3) Engines Firing Order:
the coil wiring is not the same on both engines.
no VIN told
vin B or 3 here
rule 1 replace parts 1 by 1, never in pairs or more or get lost and need this drawing or t he L,1,k) drawing cure that.
test spark 1 by 1. there are 3 coils , firing in wasted spark MODE.

02 chevy 4.3 1500 fuel pressure is 45psi new pump and coil and crank senor pump is 2 weeks old will not start

I have one question first how did you measure the fuel pressure at 45 psi it should be 66 psi .
I would take a good look at the in line fuel filter before I replaced anymore parts .
It should be on the frame rail some ware under the drivers door look for the lines from the pump

Replaced ignition control module on 1994 buick lesabre, now it will start, but runs crappy also replaced crank sensor, cam sensor, all 3 coil packs, spaek plugs, and front 3 wires

check fuel pressure are fuel rail? Should be 40-47 psi. Also check filter at rear frame rail near RR tire, pull vacuum line off fuel pressure regulator at intake mainfold. Should have vac. and be dry, no gas at fitting.

My car will not start, I replaced the starter, replaced the battery 2 months ago, I replaced the mass air flow senor, crank shaft senor and modulator? When you try to start it, it shudders and will not...

That still could be a number of things. Fuel pump, O2 sensor, Ignition coil, etc. A good way to find out if its a fuel or electrical problem is to get a can of starter fluid. Open the air intake and spray a little inside and see if it starts. If it does not, then you have a spark or sensor problem. If it does start, then you have a fuel problem.

My 2000 Lesabre will crank but will not start

first thing check for spark
next check fuel pressure
finally, while cranking, watch the check engine light
It should be on before you start cranking, but what does it do while you are cranking?

The engine will not fire when started engine will spin with the starter but will not run

u need to check the following
1) fuel pump relay (check it if it's broken)
2) fuel pump (check it if it works - u must hear a click sound)
3) Coils (check its resistance using ohmmeter)
4) sparkplug wires (check it from corrosion)
good luck

Buick lesabre nightmare

Need to get a scan tool and look at the data stream while it is running for alot more info. Also any trouble codes.Sounds like initially, the engine isn't getting any fuel.I would have a pressure gauge connected to the fuel rail on the engine,so i could monitor the fuel pressure while all this is going on.Items to look at on the data stream would be timing, what timing is the PCM commanding for the engine. Also, have you checked for continuos power feed to the coils during this no start condition, and fire at the plugs while cranking. You could possibly still have spark, but maybe it is extremely weak?I have seen bad ignition switches cause weird problems before too. Many things power up through the ignition switch, just a thought.Have also seen bad PCM's cause strange problems..38 volts is a little on the low side for GM.Usually see those at,at least .50 and up,and rise steadily while pressing the throttle,up to just under 5.0 volts.Potentiometer with 5 volt supply.Vacuum leak can be checked with engine running at a steady idle speed, spray brake cleaner all around the intake manifold and listen for engine speed change.
