Changed resister and relay still dont work
You replaced the resistor and WHAT relay? The blower motor circuit on a 2007 Dodge Nitro does not use a relay.
The blower resistor gets it's power from the A/C - heater control unit.
If you check for voltage at the blower motor resistor connector (Key on, relay disconnected), the DARK BLUE/GREY wire should be hot when the control switch is on HIGH. The DARK BLUE/VIOLET wire should be hot with the switch in the MEDIUM 2 position. The DARK BLUE/ORANGE wire should be hot with the switch in the MEDIUM 1 position. The DARK BLUE/BROWN wire should be hot with the switch on LOW.
If any of these are not as stated above, then you either have a bad A/C - heater control unit, or faulty wiring between the control unit and the resistor.

I had the same thing happpen with mine. The unit is located behind the glove box and is just left of the fan held in place with two screws. I bought a new resistor from radio shack and installed it in the unit.

in my 2004 grand caravan it's behind the glove box and left of the blower motor. disconnect the wires first then remove the 2 screws to pull out the resistor unit. First make sure you have removed the negative of your batterie. I had the same pm that prevented the blower motor to operate in any speed. I hope this will help

it would be the recister that is localated right by the blower motor it is a $40 dollar part ,it just has to screw holding it in place

I had the same problem, I changed the resistor that is located behind the glove compartment and it is all good now. That resistor doesn't look like a resistor when you look at it. To reconise this item, there are two connector attached to it, the one from the blower motor on which there is a green wire and a black wire. The other connector attached to the same resistor consist of 4 wires of diff colors.

The Blower Motor Resistor is located behind the glove box on the dash. Remove the whole glove box to access. The Resistor is mounted against/sort of into the fire wall.
1. Disconnect the negative side of battery.
2. Disconnected the Electrical Connection to the Resistor.
3. Remove the bolts/screws. I believe they have 8mm heads, there should be 2 of them.
4. Replace with new one/Replug electrical connection.
5. Reconnect the negative side last.
6. Test System before putting the glove box back in!
The Blower Motor is easy (compared to $1000) to remove and replace.

Don't go buy a new a/c heater controller. Take the back off the unit and you will find the brass plate that controls the high speed power to the switch is glazed over. There are four plastic clips holding the back plate on. Once removed the contacts are on this back cover. I took my Dremel tool with a wire brush and scuffed up the contact which had been glazed over with a thin plastic coat when the plate had heated up. I suspect the plate heated up from being left on high and starting the car. This WOULD cause over heating of the contact. Fixed at a total cost of two hours of my time.
